Faculty of Medicine
Juma is an Experimental Medicine PhD student researching the health effects of traffic-related air pollution at the Air Pollution Exposure Laboratory. Juma utilizes controlled human exposures to investigate the concentration-response to diesel exhaust exposure using clinical data, proteomics and immunoassays. His research aims to identify concentration-dependent internal markers that are linked to clinically relevant health measures, with potential biomonitoring applications.
Research interests: Air pollution, Statistical Analysis, Controlled human exposures, Concentration-responses, Biomarkers, Respiratory medicine
