Stefanie Todesco MSc Candidate
I am currently pursuing my Masters in the Graduate Program in Neuroscience at UBC under the supervision of Dr. Christian Schütz. My research focuses on neurocognitive functioning in patients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders (concurrent disorders) and how it relates to treatment outcome using patient chart data. I also apply computational modelling of decision making in this population to assess its clinical relevance. Knowledge obtained through this research will provide unprecedented information on the clinically relevant predictors of treatment outcomes in concurrent disorders, including overdose and relapse.
Research Interests: substance use, mental health, cognition, computational modelling
