Learn More About Privacy Impact Assessments for Generative AI Instructional Use

The Centre for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) at UBC recently added new details on the Microsoft CoPilot on its page outlining the current state of Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and any recommendations for Instructors with regards to teaching and learning uses for Generative AI Tools at UBC. 

A PIA is a risk management and compliance review process used to identify and address potential information privacy and security issues, thus avoiding costly program, service, or process redesign and minimizing exposure to potential privacy breaches.
