We invite you to join a dynamic roundtable session to examine key questions of who, what, where and how to implement AI and Digital Health technologies in rural communities. This interdisciplinary event is for healthcare providers, researchers, health authorities, and community members who have experience and/or interest in bringing AI tools to rural BC.
Hear real-world applications of AI in rural healthcare from leading experts in echocardiology and digital emergency medicine.
Contribute to collaborative discussions to explore strategies for developing and effectively integrating AI and digital health tools into rural and Indigenous health systems.
Discussion Topics:
- Key Priority Health Needs & Gaps for Rural and Indigenous Communities in BC.
- Barriers and Risks in the Design, Development, and Implementation of Digital Health and AI Tools.
- Solutions, Sustainability and Policy Needs for AI and Digital Health Tools in Rural BC.
Outcomes from this session will help inform future policy directions, partnerships, and potential pilot projects. No preparation is needed, just bring your curiosity, lived experience, and ideas to contribute to a meaningful dialogue.
