Dr. Lynn Hancock PhD


Director - Strategy, Planning, Research, and Reporting

Lynn Hancock received her PhD in Political Science from Yale University in 2018 (B.A. - UCLA 2010; MA - UBC 2012). In 2019 she began work as a policy analyst in workforce planning at B.C.'s Ministry of Health and in 2022 became the director responsible for workforce planning, research, and reporting. Lynn leads a team focused on research and data driven workforce planning and is particularly interested in supply-demand modelling using population health data and the use of AI and other technologies in the health sector to support and optimize service delivery.
