Dr. Anita Palepu is Professor and Eric W. Hamber Chair and Head of the Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and Providence Health Care. As a scientist with the Centre for Health Evaluation and Outcome Sciences, Dr. Palepu’s research is in urban health, with particular interest in persons who are vulnerable to poor health outcomes, such as those who use illicit substances and experience homelessness.
